What is Energy Medicine?
On a molecular level, we are made up of trillions of subatomic particles that are constantly exchanging energy. Our cells are in constant motion to make our bodies run in perfect health.
And all this happens while we sleep, or eat, or breathe. It is incredible.
Energy medicine practitioners call this constant motion of our cells “vibration” or “frequency.” The higher the frequency, the healthier (generally speaking). Ideally, we can run our energy at a high/fast frequency to accomplish whatever we desire. We can do this by receiving vast amounts of energy from the world around us—it’s a beautiful exchange.
However, some people may run their energy low, or have certain energy centers that are blocked. This can cause disease within the body, either as physical illness, or emotional/mental distress. The good news is this is easily treated with personalized energy healing sessions.
There are various forms of energy medicine. Examples include reiki, acupuncture, ayurvedic medicine, healing touch, and qigong. I utilize techniques drawn from healing touch and reiki and combine them with my personal style of vibrational healing and intuition. It is a one-of-a-kind healing experience that I am so excited and honored to offer to my clients.

Molly Downey
As an intuitive healer with an extensive background in both modern and alternative medicine, Molly offers unique energy healing sessions to clients, drawn from training in various forms of energy medicine. Each treatment session is uniquely guided by intuition and the client’s needs and desires in the moment.
Where my Journey Began
I grew up in a family of alternative medicine practitioners. My mother taught healing touch courses to nursing students, and I often would be the volunteer patient to practice on. This experience taught me how to feel the flow of subtle energy and how that transfer really works.
I was always drawn to medicine and healing arts and decided to become a certified Physician Assistant in 2014. My first job was at a federally qualified health clinic, providing family medicine and urgent care to the rural migrant population. After several years, I changed my specialties to chronic pain/addiction medicine and sleep medicine. This experience was eye-opening as it allowed me to see a new demographic that was very underserved, yet stigmatized.
To my surprise, I found this work to be absolutely inspirational. I loved this population of patients for their tenacity and sometimes audacity. They showed me the absolute power of the mind–and the importance of learning how to manage our thoughts. It was also at this point that I began to become aware of subtle energies while working with patients. Although grateful for this experience in modern medicine, I began to realize that I wanted to offer something more meaningful to my patients and today I bring you, Etheric Healing.

I realized that I was naturally gifted at seeing and feeling energy.
As my awareness grew, I sought guidance through learning. I became certified as a yoga instructor and I learned to meditate. Meditation opened my connection to the multisensory world, and I began to expand my intuition and ability to communicate with source energy.
I began to take energy medicine classes from many gifted teachers including Sonia Karumsi, MSPT, Tamara Lee Standard, E-RYT 200, Marie Manuchehri, RN and from my own mother–Marty Downey, PhD, RN, AHN-BC, CHTP/I, CNE. I have trained in multiple disciplines including reiki, healing touch, vibrational medicine, energy medicine, psychic courses and mediumship.
As I trained, I started to offer energy medicine to patients, as they requested, with great success. During this time, I also used energy medicine healing techniques to heal myself from a life-long chronic condition. That is when I knew I wanted to offer this type of healing to others.
